Tamil
TAMIL is a Classical Language natively spoken by the Tamil people of South Asia. Tamil is an official language of the Indian State of Tamil Nadu, the sovereign nations of Srilanka and Singapore.
It is also spoken by the Tamil diaspora found in many countries, including Malaysia, Myanmar, South Africa, UK, US and Canada, Australia and Mauritius.
Tamil is one of the longest – surviving Classical Languages in the world.
Tamil literature has been documented for over 2000 years. There are about 65 million Tamil speakers worldwide.

TEACHING METHODOLOGY
Teaching students various strokes to acquire the writing ability.
Teaching combination of vowels and consonants by giving them suitable examples.
Teach the students correct pronunciation clearly while writing a letter
To be able to let the students know how to self-correct by themselves.
Teacher will encourage students writing the letters without seeing the board.
Teacher will dictate the format and variation in each word.
Teacher will have various pictures aids to induce the learning in Tamil.
Teacher will encourage to let the student speak using the learnt Tamil words or basic sentences.
Teacher will explain the stressed word, unstressed or soft and intermediate word.-
Students will be encourage to read Tamil stories and watch Tamil movies then do book report.
There will be an atmosphere to grasp their attention through various puzzles and learning through pictures.
Class will have numerous activities and games in learning words.
